Towards an Engaging and Gamified Online Learning Environment—A Real CaseStudy

Currently, remote work is common, and this trend has come to several areas processes, such as education teaching. Regarding higher education, universities have challenges overcome, the most challenging being transforming teaching be more digital engaging. Therefore, TechTeach arisen a new paradigm that creates unique learning environment satisfies students’ professors’ expectations. After success of b-learning approach, professors created experiences utilizing an entirely online following paradigm. This article shows performed through real case study, explains strategy used implement paradigm, provides opinions, analyses results achieved. The demonstrated that, while effort was tremendous, result beneficial all. 208 hours classes, 11,173 downloads, 15,224 messages, 200,000 sessions, 3 rescues requests, 28t cards, 98.15% active participants gave it their approval, 96.53% considered subject equal or better than others, 85% accepted gamification system. These show class can engaging where students learn enjoy regardless whether physical not.
